Fortnite’s 14 Days Of Summer event is well under way this fine 4th of July morning.
Players have been diving into new Limited-Time Modes for the past ten days, with a new Unvaulted weapon to play around with each day as well.
And alongside these festivities, each day of the event sees a new challenge and reward. For Day 10, we’re tasked with launching three fireworks found alongside a river bank.
There’s only one real river on the game’s map, dividing the island in half, north to south. Here’s where each Firework can be found and launched:
The locations are:
- The northeastern shore of Lazy Lagoon near the small boats.
- The southernmost point of Lazy Lagoon, on a hill above the waterfall.
- East of Loot Lake on the grass by two vehicles.
- South of Loot Lake and east of Neo Tilted, near a tree on the western bank.
- South of Neo Tilted on the western bank.
- West of Fatal Fields in the snow biome, on the western bank of the river.
It’s possible there are more scattered alongside the river and if I find any of these I’ll update the post. Let me know if you find more as well, on Twitter or Facebook.
The trick to this challenge is that once someone has set one of these fireworks off, it’s gone for the rest of the match. This means that even if you come upon one of these locations you may not find a firework there to launch—some other player could have gotten to it first. Most similar challenges don’t work this way, so good luck.
Yesterday’s Day 9 challenge was scoring trick points on a driftboard with a special 14 Days Of Summer wrap applied. You can read about that one here.
Epic Games and Netflix have also confirmed the upcoming Stranger Things X Fortnite crossover event which sounds pretty neat. Stranger Things lands on Netflix today.
Happy 4th of July! Good luck launching those fireworks!
P.S. The reward for completing this challenge is a sweet double pickaxe, the Low ‘n ‘Slow:
It doesn’t get much more summery than that! (P.S. You’ll need this pickaxe for a future 14 Days Of Summer challenge).
