The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties was presented with an $81,000 check from Century National Bank Wednesday evening.

Kyle Dunn, United Way’s Resource Development Director noted that the financial contribution by the bank is among the largest donations they receive each year.

“Century National Bank goes above and beyond for the United Way and their community,” Dunn emphasized while also highlighting the commitment to volunteering the employees at Century have with the various programs and projects throughout the year.

“We feel lucky to have Century National Bank as a partner,” Dunn added.

The check was presented by Century National Bank’s President Pat Nash, Senior Vice President Alton Thompson, and Century’s internal United Way Campaign Chairs, Tierney Ford and Tori White, as well as many banking associates.

Thompson credited Ford and White for their creative internal fundraisers and employee pledges. The bank also contributed a substantial corporate gift, which was included in the donation.

“We’re proud of the $81,000 that we’re contributing this year,” Thompson remarked. “It’s a special place to work and we’re proud of the partnership we have with the United Way.”
