DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are looking for suspects who drove a U-Haul truck into a Comerica Bank on the city’s west side Sunday morning.

Investigators say the attempted theft and extensive damage happened around 4:40 a.m. in the 13000 block of W. Chicago.

According to a preliminary investigation, once the suspects crashed into the building, they damaged the ATM inside in an attempt to get money. The bank’s manager says no money was taken from the location.

The suspects then fled the scene in a gray van that was later found at Littlefield Street and Ellis Avenue.

No information has been provided on the number of suspects, and there are no descriptions currently available.
