On Feb. 13 at noon ET, the “America’s Founding Fathers Currency Set” from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing went on sale on the United States Mint’s website and is now sold out.
Each set contains a Series 2017 $1 note and Series 2013 $2 note from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, featuring the portraits of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson along with matching serial numbers beginning with 2020.
Each set is packaged in a decorative, tri-fold folder, and each note is protected by a clear, acid-free, polymer sleeve.
The cost per set is $21.95 and bulk pricing is available for orders of 50 or more at $18.95. The household order limit is 50 units. The set is limited to 8,000 units and will be offered during the calendar year 2020 only.
