Counterfeit currency was discovered at a grocery store in The Villages.
A manager at Winn-Dixie at La Plaza Grande at Spanish Springs contacted law enforcement on Sunday morning to report that an office associate had discovered the bogus bills after closing the store the previous night, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
The counterfeit currency included a $20 and $50 bill, the report said. Both bills were taken into evidence by police.
