Rob Braun, former WKRC Local 12 anchor who left the station in June, has signed on as Heritage Bank’s new corporate spokesperson, according to a statement the bank made Wednesday.

After 35 years at WKRC, Braun will now be front and center in the bank’s advertising campaigns and public events, the release states.

“Like Heritage Bank, Rob cares about what unites our region as well as the qualities unique to each community and neighborhood,” Heritage Bank chairman Chris Caddell said in the release. “He is also a long-time customer. Rob can speak first-hand about our commitment to building prosperity wherever we operate and providing customers with the same caliber of counsel and personal attention we offer family and friends.”

Braun will bring his storytelling skills and media expertise to his new career, the release states. He will work both as the face of the company and behind the scenes.

Heritage Bank is approaching their 30 year anniversary and their $1 billion mark, according to the release. With these milestone moments approaching, the bank has decided to push for a “people-first” approach.

“Heritage Bank trusts people more than algorithms, and their customers trust Heritage Bank,” said Braun. “In just 30 years, Heritage Bank has grown into one of the region’s leading community banks almost exclusively through word of mouth. I look forward to sharing stories about their unique approach to banking across the region.”

Heritage Bank serves Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky through 19 branches and is family-owned.
