The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on July 6 set the official forex rate for July 7 at UAH 27.13 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country’s national currency strengthen by four kopiykas.
The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is fixed at UAH 30.72 per euro – the hryvnia lost 21 kopiykas in value since Monday, according to the NBU website.
The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for July 7:
US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,712.69 (UAH 2,717.16 as of July 6);
EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,072.26 (UAH 3,050.69 as of July 6).
As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Monday, July 6, at UAH 27.17 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country’s national currency strengthen by one kopiyka after a two-day fall.
The regulator set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Friday, July 3, at UAH 27.18 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country’s national currency slump by 41 kopiykas.
