MUNCY — Rob Glunk, president and CEO of The Muncy Bank and Trust Company, recently announced that the company is opening its eighth full-service office at 2190 Route 54, Montgomery.
The office will offer traditional banking products as well as trust and investment services. The location will have a drive-up window, walk up ATM and night deposit. The new location is scheduled to open in March with four full-time and two part-time employees.
Nikki Stepp has been named the AVP/community office manager of the Montgomery office and Stacey Wheeler is the assistant community manager of the new office.
With over 20 years of banking experience, Stepp will oversee the operation and customer service areas of the Montgomery office and will play an important role in the office’s business development plans. She has experience in all areas of branch operation starting as a teller and working through every job necessary to successfully run a community bank office.
Stepp is a graduate of the PA Bankers Association School of Banking and the PA Bankers Association’s consumer lending course. According to a press release, she is an important member of the bank’s Savings Day volunteer team; she is co-chair of the American Cancer Society’s Tri-town Relay for Life and was a Treasurer for the Family Readiness group for the Army Reserve. She and her husband, Jerry, live in Muncy and have three children.
Wheeler is a graduate of Montoursville High School and the PA Bankers Association School of Banking. She joined Muncy Bank in 2011 as a part-time teller and worked as a head teller and customer service representative in various Muncy Bank offices.
A strong supporter of the American Cancer Society, Wheeler is the captain of the Muncy Bank “Banking on a Cure” Relay for Life team. Fund raising year-round for the team she has helped raise over $10,000 for the local Tri-Town Relay for Life event. Stacey lives in the Hughesville area with her family.
According to Glunk, “Muncy Bank already has a strong presence in the eastern part of Lycoming County opening an office in Montgomery will allow us to better serve our customers in the Montgomery area. Having long time Muncy Bank employees opening the new office will help us provide the best possible community banking experience.”
