5 News spoke with employees of neighboring businesses to the bank who said they saw police around the area. Police also asked for any information regarding the suspect.
“I didn’t see anything regarding the robbery, other than police officers did come into our office two different times. Two officers at two different times came in. They wanted to know if we had security cameras that would have been looking at the building location across the street from us but we don’t,” said Linda Derosa, a Marion County resident.
5 News spoke with a Marion County resident who suspected the suspect is the same man wanted for a bank robbery in Monongalia County in September of 2018 and a bank robbery in White Hall in August of 2017.
Investigating officer, Detective Buck, said that there is no confirmation that the suspects of these three robberies were the same person, but that they did share a likeness.
Det. Buck also said that no further information is known about the suspect, but that police are searching.
5 News reached out to BC Bank for comment on the robbery, but received no comment.
